Athens Area Urology is on the move!
When considering a new location Athens Area Urology
had a tight geographic ring with which to work since they needed to be close enough to the hospitals and surgery centers in order to see patients with little disruption to the daily flow at the office. Principal Chris Blackmon helped them review lease options, purchase options, new construction, and renovation. When he found out that the Golden Pantry headquarters was for sale on Golden Way, he immediately investigated the opportunity. While not seeming to be a fit at first blush, upon a deeper dive it became clear this was a great location and perfectly met the needs of the Athens Area Urology group. The fabulous doctors and wonderful office manager at AAU collaborated with E&E Architecture, Grahl Construction, and Classic City Bank
creating the plans for redesigning the new location. and the purchase was completed in March 2020! Construction has officially begun and we look forward to seeing the before and after pictures!
